► Arriving in St. Petersburg
Sea Passenger Terminal
The St. Petersburg Sea Passenger Terminal is St. Petersburg's link to the Gulf of Finland and Baltic Sea. Many different liners dock here. There is regular service to Tallinn and Helsinki. The terminal has a few shops, a hotel (not very nice one) and a foreign currency exchange booth. The terminal is located on Vasilevsky Island -
technically in the center but really is a bit out of the way. It is easiest to reach the center either by taxi, gypsy cab or a mini bus taxi (called a Marshrutka).

River Station
The river station is located in a quite out of the way place in the southern part of the city right on the Neva River. Most boats to Moscow and other interesting places (such as Vaalam) depart from here.
